The game
Clear, Under or Take is a shedding card game built around a simple objective: get rid of your cards before everyone else does. But every turn presents the same three fundamental choices—clear the pile, play under it, or take it—and each choice changes what happens next.
The rules are easy to learn. The strategy comes from recognizing when each choice works in your favor. Playing aggressively can get cards out of your hand quickly but leave you exposed. Conservative play may preserve better opportunities for later. A balanced approach sits somewhere between the two. The same hand can play very differently depending on the strategy you choose and the patterns you recognize as the game develops.
You play against AI opponents, so the game is always available—no account, sign-in, or network connection required.
The coach
The coach plays alongside you without playing for you. At any point, it can recommend a move and explain that recommendation using one of three strategies: aggressive, balanced, or conservative. Choose a style and the coach stays consistent, letting you see how that approach handles different hands and situations over time.
The goal isn't simply to tell you which card to play. It's to help you recognize the patterns behind the decision—what a move gains now, what it may cost later, and how that changes depending on the style of play.
The coaching isn't based on arbitrary hints. Its decision rules are developed from recorded games, graded and tuned, then tested through simulated arena play against different strategies before becoming part of the coach.
The more you play, the less you need the coach—not because you've memorized its moves, but because you've started seeing the patterns yourself.
