Lyra bathtub prompt test

This was one of my first AI photo projects. The two images show an original bathtub photo of my granddaughter Lyra and the AI version I made from it. I described the original scene in a prompt to test how closely AI could recreate it. The result came remarkably close.

Lyra action figure

I used AI to create this Lyra Telly action-figure concept just for fun. Her surprised expression came from a different real photo in which static made her hair stand up. That photo became a favorite starting point for several projects, including a 3D nightlight and a 3D statue.

John cooking in Greece

John is a fellow traveler from Texas whom I befriended on our Greece trip. This began as a real photo of him cooking with us. AI was new to him, so I turned the photo into an illustrated caricature for fun.

Lyra’s static-hair day

I took a real photo of my granddaughter Lyra during a static-hair moment in her play tent and turned it into this cartoon illustration. The playful image became a backdrop for several other projects, including a 3D nightlight and a 3D statue.

A 1960s track photo brought to life

This black-and-white newspaper photo from the 1960s includes a friend and neighbor who ran track. I colorized the image and made it into a short moving picture. He had never seen that moment in color or motion, and I was pleased with how well the result came out.
